Extra! Extra! Read all about it, the National Association of Realtors is CORRUPT!
I’m serious, the jerk-offs over at this organization have just admitted that starting in 2007, (when the real estate industry just started to be in trouble), started to give out “mis-guiding” information to the real estate community and the United States about the true state of home sales and pending home sales. The barometer of home sales every month is the #1 way people measure the strength of the real estate market, and the National Association of Realtors are the only ones who are able to determine what that is because of their MLS (multiple listing service) that every Realtor uses everyday.
The worst news is that the numbers that came out from Realtors from 207 to 2011 were bad enough, now that were finding out that the numbers are going to be skewed even further is troubling. In defense of the National Association of Realtors, they cannot track the almost 3% of real estate transactions that are not listed in the MLS, and are deals done by owners themselves or done by “private listings”.
When will the RIGHT sold numbers come out?
